Overview
A Louisiana hospital needs a locum tenens hematology oncology physician for coverage 3 days per week, with the possibility of ongoing coverage. You will see 10-12 adult patients per week, inpatient and outpatient, and will be required to administer chemotherapy and perform blood transfusions as needed.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care in hematology and oncology for adult patients (inpatient and outpatient).
- Administer chemotherapy and perform blood transfusions as needed.
- Collaborate with the hospital team to coordinate patient treatment plans.
- Board Certified in Hematology-Oncology
- Current BLS certification
- Louisiana license or eligible to obtain licensure
- Available to cover 3 days per week, with potential for ongoing coverage
