The Pediatrician is responsible for providing quality comprehensive primary pediatric health care services. Care is to be provided from a community-oriented and case-managed perspective. As a member of both the General and Clinic Medical Staff, the pediatrician is to be a key participant in ongoing quality assurance, planning, and community networking activities.
Location and Schedule: This position will work at our Ceres East Clinic in Ceres, CA - Stanislaus County. Will work a 40-hour work week, with flexibility to work five (5) eight (8) hour shifts – or – four (4) 10-hour shifts.
Compensation: Annual salary range: $235,000 – $268,000. Annual Salary, Sign-On Bonus, and Relocation Assistance Eligible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct primary outpatient care for at least 40 hours per week.
- Deliver comprehensive, ongoing, family-oriented pediatric care.
- Ensure compliance with Golden Valley Health Centers’ policies, protocols, and practice principles.
- Participate in quality assurance and peer review programs, including the Staff Performance Audit Committee.
- Attend and contribute to Medical Staff meetings and committees.
- Maintain active hospital privileges, share on-call and hospitalization duties with colleagues.
- Maintain active memberships in County Medical Society and California Medical Association.
- Serve as a supervisor and preceptor to clinicians in training when requested.
Physical Demands:
- Lift up to 40 pounds and push up to 100 pounds (on wheels).
- Hear staff and patients clearly; communicate effectively.
- Read documents and screens with or without lenses.
- High manual dexterity required.
- Able to reach, bend, squat, sit, stand, kneel, twist, and perform fine motor tasks.
The work environment is typically average noise level.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Knowledge of:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school (allopathic or osteopathic).
Training and Experience:
- Valid California Medical License.
- DEA Certificate.
- BLS or ACLS CPR certification by the American Heart Association.
- Board Certification within three years of employment preferred.
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited residency in Pediatrics is highly desirable.
