A hospital is seeking an interventional cardiologist for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility LocationThe facility is located in Blue Springs, MO.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThe role includes a mix of clinic and hospital coverage, with approximately 3.5 days spent in the clinic and 2-2.5 days in the hospital. The schedule includes some weekend 24hour call. Outpatient volume averages 12-14 patients per day, while inpatient responsibilities include rounding on about 10 patients daily. The facility uses EPIC EMR and offers exposure to cath lab work, STEMI cases, basic stabilization, stents, and cath procedures.
The team also includes two NPs who support both the clinic and hospital settings.
