The Architectural Intern actively participates in the design and documentation phases of projects, working alongside project managers, architects, and consultants. This role involves monitoring construction progress, ensuring design integrity through both field observations and office reviews, and engaging in project-related interactions with clients, contractors, and consultants. Additionally, the intern focuses on developing construction documents, 3D models for schematic design, and exploring innovative approaches to generative design, while also assisting in project coordination and the preparation of presentation materials.

Job Summary:
- Contributes to the development of a project’s design and documentation with project managers, architects, and consultants
- Monitors construction progress and design intent through field observations and in-office review
- Project-related contact with clients, contractors, and consultants
- Coordinates integration and documentation of materials and components in building assemblies.
- Develop construction documents in ACAD or Revit format for residential and commercial projects.
- Develop 3D models for schematic design concepts (Sketchup, Revit, Rhino, etc. acceptable)
- Assist in project coordination with consultants and during the construct
- Explore innovative ways to apply generative design in common design processes, such as space planning, façade design, and high-performance design optimization.
- Assist in the preparation of schematic design, digital modeling, diagrams, 2D/3D presentation packages, and final working drawings, with detailed instructions regarding tasks and expected results.
