Alloi is an award-winning, architect-led design-build practice dedicated to the rigorous pursuit of detailed, high-performance custom homes. Our work is contemporary, crafted, and deeply considered — where design integrity and construction execution are inseparable.

We are seeking an experienced Architect who thrives in the space between concept and craft — someone who draws, models, details, and builds with equal fluency.

This is not a production position.

You will help shape projects from first sketch through final built form. You will work directly with leadership, clients, and our in-house construction team to ensure design vision translates seamlessly into construction reality.

We are looking for someone who understands that great architecture lives in the details — and that details must be buildable.

• Lead projects in Revit 2026 from concept through construction documentation
• Sketch and develop modern custom homes with clarity and restraint
• Produce thoughtful, thorough, and precise construction documents
• Detail custom assemblies with performance and longevity in mind
• Collaborate daily with our in-house construction team
• Manage budgets with design intelligence
• Present ideas clearly and confidently to clients and collaborators
• Guide project teams and uphold studio standards
• Navigate LA, Santa Monica, and Culver City codes with confidence
• Coordinate consultants and maintain schedule discipline

• 10+ years of experience in custom single-family residential design and construction
• Bachelor of Architecture (required)
• Strong designer with technical depth
• Fluent in Revit, Bluebeam, and Lumion
• Strong grasp of lighting design and spatial composition
• Highly organized and able to manage teams and timelines
• Clear communicator — verbal and graphic
• Humble, rigorous, and committed to continuous improvement
