Reporting to the Executive Director, Creative Services, the User Experience (UX) Design Manager oversees Mercy's consumer‑centered digital design team. The role significantly impacts Mercy's online assets and requires knowledge of current digital design trends and user‑centered design. The manager collaborates with UI designers, developers, product managers, and executives throughout the planning and development lifecycle. Additionally, they ensure consistent brand application, align with strategic growth goals, and reflect Mercy values in all departmental operations, adhering to our mission and service standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience as a user experience designer or interaction designer, or similar role.
- 2+ years of experience managing a collaborative design team.
- Experience leading design for a variety of form factors including mobile, desktop, and hardware interfaces.
- Experience leading and delivering full life‑cycle design projects, from design strategy through execution.
- уменьшение of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and Web Design/Layout required. Experience with HTML, video, flash, content management systems, and copy‑editing a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to create human‑centered design solutions, showcasing a strong and unique creative vision through a comprehensive portfolio.
- Ability to adapt to the fluidity of the healthcare industry, recognizing and responding to the evolving needs of the ministry. Must embrace change and lead the department through transitions with a proactive approach.
- Fluency in best practices for web‑based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Must be a self‑starter who can work independently when necessary.
- Must communicate ideas from rough sketches to finished projects in a range of media. Excellent design skills are a must.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and in writing.
- Must have strong sense of corporate brand and visual identity.
- Must exhibit a can‑do, problem‑solving attitude and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure, evolving environment. Displays creativity, flexibility, risk‑taking, teamwork and dependability.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Background managing a rapid prototyping team.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in design, computer science or psychology. - Experience:
