Job Description

Houston Homes seeks an experienced Residential Architectural Designer with 1–3 years of experience to join the Architecture Department and collaborate with Purchasing & Estimating and Construction Operations.

Key responsibilities include creating new floor plans, supporting the current portfolio, delivering custom revisions, and ensuring that architectural solutions are innovative, cost‐effective, practical, and aligned with company standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design. Licensed architect preferred but not required.
  • organiz oni require e 1–3 years özel residential design experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Sketch Up, V‐Ray, and Photoshop preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Assist architects with routine assignments and familiarize with company programs and procedures.
  • Create construction documents from conception to final release, coordinating with structural, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
  • Generate supplementary drawings for custom requests from the sales team on behalf of buyers.
  • Manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate across teams, consultants, and trades to ensure project requirements are met and issues resolved promptly.
  • Maintain a detail‐oriented, collaborative, and proactive approach while expanding knowledge of residential construction, building codes, and processes.
