Operations Associate at Impact Trial Consulting, LLC

Impact is hiring! We are looking to add multiple full‑time trial technology specialists to our trial technology team in our New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco offices.

Impact Trial Consulting LLC is a highly experienced trial technology and litigation graphics consulting firm partnering with trial attorneys in complex litigation matters throughout the United States and abroad. We consistently achieve unparalleled results for our high‑profile clients by exceeding industry standards for value and quality.

We are looking for Trial Technology Specialists across all levels (entry level or those with industry experience) to join our rapidly growing firm. You will support clients that come from the top 100 law firms in the country, in high‑stakes legal matters throughout the United States and internationally, and work with our talented team of trial specialists and graphic designers to prepare for and execute presentations in a variety of legal proceedings.

You are an excellent candidate if you have all or a combination of these key skills:
  • Comfortable troubleshooting Windows and Apple products
  • Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Video editing experience
  • Setting up and troubleshooting audio‑visual equipment experience
  • Adobe Premier knowledge
  • Adobe Illustrator knowledge
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Contribute to development of department standards, workflow, and systems for better work product.
  • Infrastructure support and improvement projects.
  • Inventory Management.
  • Data archiving.
  • User support (software installation, hardware distribution, general IT support at a light to medium level).
  • Creating, editing, and maintaining a presentation software database of electronic materials.
  • Preparing exhibits and documents.
  • Converting audio/video source material to compatible format, synchronizing video files to transcripts, and reviewing database materials for quality control.
  • Creating and editing video deposition clips based on client designations, fine‑tuning video to team specifications, and exporting video clips for client review.
  • On‑site assessment of technology requirements and equipment configuration, and creation of site schematic for the team.
  • Setting up and breaking down on‑site equipment, coordinating equipment needs with vendor, client, and venue.
  • Periodic travel is involved.
You meet these requirements:
  • Previous tech work experience or B.A., or other bachelor’s degree in technology or a related field
  • Flexibility to accommodate long hours, nights and weekends, and travel (i.e., traveling and staying onsite for case work)
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a flexible, fast‑paced, cooperative, team‑based environment
  • Ability to handle deadline pressures and work quickly
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to tackle any challenges presented
  • Effective correspondence with external clients and internal teams
  • Live locally to the Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan Area and be able to regularly work in person at our downtown office (HYBRID model, at least 2 days in the office a week)
  • References from prior work history.
