Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Lead CAD Technician with strong Revit skills to join our team. This role will support architectural design projects by producing precise technical drawings and models and will work closely with architects and designers throughout all project phases. The Lead CAD Technician will play a key role in ensuring accuracy and quality in our work and will lead junior team members in maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage Revit models and CAD drawings to support architectural project specifications.
- Collaborate with architects and design teams to ensure all project documentation is consistent and accurate.
- Lead and mentor junior CADD technicians, providing guidance on best practices in Revit and CAD.
- Conduct quality control reviews on drawings and models to ensure compliance with design and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders
—including project managers, project coordinators, quality control team members, and other technical teams—to ensure cohesive project planning and execution. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- 5+ years of CAD drafting experience in an architectural setting.
- Proficiency in Revit is required, with a strong portfolio demonstrating experience in residential or commercial projects.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team or mentoring junior staff.
- Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and industry regulations
. - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
