Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with clients through in-person, by appointment, and virtual channels to provide counsel with a digital-first mindset.
  • Assess and address customers’ banking needs; obtain and process customer and account information; demonstrate and educate clients on deposit and loan products and services; and recommend solutions based on each customer’s goals.
  • Proactively reach out and follow up with clients, asking questions and learning about their financial needs and channel preferences.
  • Identify solutions for new and existing clients by effectively engaging and communicating with them.
  • Maintain working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital offerings.
  • Provide a consistent, optimal client experience by greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
  • Open new consumer and business accounts; complete service requests and submit credit applications.
  • Educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to help meet their financial needs.
  • Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Typically has a minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
  • Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital-first mindset
  • Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred
