About the Role
Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles International Airport South is hiring a Guest Services Agent to greet and register guests, provide prompt and courteous service, check guests out, resolve challenges, upsell services, and promote hotel amenities to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
What will I be doing?- Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving guest information, confirming number of guests and room rate, selecting rooms based on guest needs, coding electronic keys, and administering Hilton Honors.
- Ensure rooms and services are correctly accounted for in the guest statement, assist with check‑out payments or charges, and accept and record vouchers, credit, traveler’s checks and other forms of payment.
- Greet customers immediately with a friendly welcome, use a positive and clear speaking voice, and provide accurate information about the hotel and events.
- Receive and respond to special requests from guests, forwarding to appropriate team members when necessary.
- Answer the telephone and email inquiries promptly, input messages into the system, and retrieve mail, packages, facsimiles or other special items for guests.
- Handle complaints, conduct thorough research to develop effective solutions, remain calm in emergencies, and plan detailed steps using experienced judgment.
Pay Range:
The starting hourly wage is $20.00–$22.00 per hour based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

- Skill in using a calculator for moderately complex math without error.

- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
