Navy Exchange Moffett is in need of a Guest Services Representative to answer the call; a team player who is dedicated to supporting our local Naval community, and operational successes on a day-to-day basis. Your work will make an impact and support how our organization serves the best customer – our Military patrons and their families.
So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed?
- Provide excellent customer service to our valued and honored guests.
- Issues room keys, operating telephone switchboard, utilizes computerized Property Management Systems.
- Communicates with Navy Lodge personnel and chain of command.
- Reconciles daily transactions of all accounts.
- Follows all local safety regulations. Informs supervisor of hazardous conditions.
- Responsible for lobby appearance including, cleaning, mopping, dusting, and organization of assigned work areas.
- Responsible for the set-up, breakdown and clean-up of the complimentary “self-service” breakfast bar and other events in the lobby area.
The Qualifiers:
- 1 year of general office clerical experience and progressive responsible experience.
- May substituted one half year of academic study above the high school level for 6 months of experience.
- Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

GENERAL
EXPERIENCE:
One 1 year of general office clerical experience that demonstrated the ability to perform clerical duties satisfactorily.
AND
SPECIALIZED
EXPERIENCE:
One 1 year progressively responsible experience related to the position to be filled.
OR
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR
EXPERIENCE:
Study completed in a college university or junior college above the high school level may be substituted on the basis of one-half academic year of study for 6 months of experience.
