About the Role

Join a Winning Team at Puente Hills Volkswagen - Now Hiring a Service Advisor! We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our growing service department. As a Service Advisor, you will be the key liaison between our customers and technicians. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service by accurately assessing customer needs, preparing repair orders, and ensuring consistent communication throughout the repair process.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers promptly and professionally.
  • Gather customer and vehicle information and accurately document concerns.
  • Clearly communicate vehicle symptoms as described by the customer to the technician.
  • Recommend appropriate maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and service history.
  • Prepare accurate repair estimates for labor and parts.
  • Schedule service appointments and follow up as needed.
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle and provide timely updates to customers.
  • Verify final invoices reflect services performed and explain charges to customers.
  • Coordinate loaner vehicles and insurance verification when necessary.
  • Take ownership of the customer experience by going above and beyond to ensure satisfaction.

  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager, or Service Consultant (Volkswagen experience is a plus)

Compensation

The estimated annual earnings range for this position is $35,000 - $105,000, including base pay, commissions, and overtime. This is a performance-based commission role. Minimum wage will be paid for non-sales tasks and during rest periods, in accordance with applicable laws. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, and location.
