Job Summary – Overnight Closer (Member Services Representative)

Provide excellent customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests. The Overnight Closer will handle front desk duties, close the shift, and create accurate bank deposits.

• Greet members, prospective members and guests with exceptional customer service.
• Answer phones and assist callers with a variety of questions.
• Check members into the system, process new member sign‑ups, and take prospective members on tours.
• Update member accounts and respond to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
• Close the shift for the business day and create a bank deposit for the next day.

• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact positively with members and co‑workers, exceeding expectations.
• Strong listening, empathy, problem‑solving, and diplomatic communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Ability to work 3rd shift (overnights).
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals.
