Description
The Sr. Graphic Designer will support the Costco Auto Program with digital, Point of Purchase (POP) and print advertising. This position requires strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work under tight deadlines in the development of campaigns and collateral. This role will work with the Costco Auto Program marketing team which includes copywriters, web designers, email marketers and project managers.
The ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into innovative design solutions is an integral part of this role.
- Design campaigns from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with the company's brand guidelines and objectives.
- Deliver assigned assets such as Power Points, fliers, signage, magazine ads, direct mail inserts, web banners, etc.
- Present design concepts and proposals to internal teams, incorporating feedback to refine deliverables.
- Support the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the overall design strategy.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BS/BBA degree in marketing or a related field and/or equivalent related work experience preferred but not required.
- Proven graphic designing experience (5+ years).
- Demonstrated experience in an agency setting, with the ability to manage multiple client‑driven projects and shifting priorities.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design talent.
- Solid understanding of design principles.
- Knowledge of design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML/CSS a plus) and familiarity with prototyping tools (Figma).
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.
- Knowledge of web design languages is a plus.
