Location: California
Your Responsibilities:
- Overseeing event planning, management, and successful delivery, including conferences, virtual and live events, awards ceremony, road shows, promotions, exhibitions, and summits in SEA and/or Asia Pacific
- Responsible for events related theme and related event’s communication materials.
- Helm a customer-facing awards ceremony while reviewing its award criteria and conditions yearly to ensure that it ties in with the company commercial objectives
- Research for available venues and recommend event sites; investigate, select, negotiate and coordinate services with vendors, including F&B catering needs
- Proven ability to think strategically, creatively and manage projects from initiation to completion, including agency management, planning, budgeting, timeline management, supplier coordination, resource allocation, and digital integration.
- Playing a key role in preparing high-quality proposals and presentations that showcase innovative ideas with excellent oral and written communication skills to present to leadership team with a cohesive, influential story to each event
- Championing the development and implementation of new approaches/technologies for successful events.
- Overseeing event setup and production, ensuring efficient supplier and contractor management.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts and compile summaries of total event costs, cost-per-contact, audience profiles and attendees' comments.
- Compile comprehensive post-event reports to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Events Management
- Minimum of 7 years working experience in event management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
- Extensive experience working on diverse projects, including exhibitions, seminars, product launches, promotions, live events, and conferences, showcasing versatility and adaptability.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in stakeholder interactions.
- Strong experience in proposal preparation and delivering impactful presentations.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
