Job Overview

We’re helping our client, a fast-growing DTC brand in the wellness space, hire a highly creative and conversion-minded Video Editor to produce short-form video for Meta platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Reels). In this role, you’ll blend direct-response principles with storytelling to create thumb-stopping content that drives ROI. You’ll work with creative strategists and performance marketers to launch and iterate on ads that actually convert.

Responsibilities
  • Edit and produce direct-response ad creatives for Meta platforms — Reels, Stories, feed ads, UGC-style cuts
  • Work with raw assets (UGC, product footage, voiceovers) to create high-converting hooks, engaging edits, and seamless CTAs
  • Follow and implement creative briefs, iterate quickly based on performance data
  • Maintain wellness-forward branding while pushing creative boundaries
  • Collaborate with growth teams and creative strategists to test, optimize, and scale top-performing video content
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience editing for Meta ads (Facebook/Instagram)
  • Strong portfolio of DTC ad work — ideally in wellness, beauty, health, or lifestyle verticals
  • Proven ability to edit for performance: you understand what makes users stop scrolling and convert
  • Comfortable working with UGC-style content, short-form edits, and branded story-driven video
  • Skilled in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Cap Cut, or similar
  • Familiarity with ad metrics (CTR, ROAS, thumb stop rate) to guide creative decisions
Nice-to-have
  • Have experience collaborating with media buyers or creative strategists
  • Are comfortable turning raw UGC or iPhone footage into polished ad content
  • Stay up to date with Meta creative trends, audio, and format best practices
  • Know how to structure A/B creative tests through video editing
