Protestant Music Director

• The applicant shall perform for all regularly scheduled worship services, praise team rehearsals and additional services as requested
• Support and assist the Lead Faith Group Chaplain or designee in selecting appropriate music and audio/visual requirements
• Work closely with pastoral team in determining worship style and song selection
• The applicant shall create song slides for worship service. Song slides are to be turned into Lead Faith Group Chaplain or designee weekly at a predetermined time
• The applicant shall conduct and lead weekly praise team rehearsals
• The applicant shall continually upgrade and maintain the music library and songs used in the worship service
• The applicant shall ensure that all facilities and musical equipment are properly secured after use
• The applicant must maintain model decorum with special attention to dress and conduct themselves in a manner appropriate for religious services and programs

• Must believe and adhere to the basic tenants of the Protestant Christian faith
• Ability to play a musical instrument and lead worship simultaneously
• The applicant should have a basic understanding of military protocol and possess the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population

• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with a church and/or chapel program directing and leading contemporary or blended worship
