Civil Construction Foreman

Hahnville, LA:
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Civil/Industrial Foreman to lead field crews on dirt and concrete projects within the civil and industrial construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage manpower, equipment, and materials on multiple projects in the New Orleans/River Parish areas.

• Lead, direct, and supervise field crews on dirt work, concrete work, foundations, formwork, and rebar installation
• Coordinate daily project activities to ensure productivity and efficiency
• Interpret and apply project drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Ensure proper allocation of tools, equipment, and materials while minimizing waste
• Manage crew attendance, performance, and jobsite discipline
• Collaborate with other discipline leads to align resources and maintain project schedules
• Enforce company safety standards and lead by example
• Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), toolbox talks, and participate in safety audits
• Maintain clear communication with all team levels, from crew members to project management

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Civil/Industrial Foreman
• Proficient in dirt and concrete construction practices
• Strong leadership and crew management abilities
• Capable of reading and interpreting construction documents and specifications
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proven commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship

• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and structures
• Work at elevated and below-grade levels
• Lift up to 60 pounds
• Perform job duties in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
