Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Lead Estimator to join a growing construction team in Los Angeles, specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure projects
. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the estimating process for complex projects, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance with company standards.

• Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for water and wastewater projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop accurate bids.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope details.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk factors in project proposals.
• Manage and mentor junior estimators, ensuring quality and consistency in all estimates.
• Prepare bid packages and participate in pre-bid meetings and client presentations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing, materials, and labor trends.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards throughout the estimating process.

• 10+ years of experience in estimating for water/wastewater construction projects.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods and materials.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
