Construction Manager/ Foreman
Commercial Interiors Superintendent – Los Angeles
We’re working with a respected commercial general contractor in Los Angeles that is seeking an experienced Commercial Interiors Superintendent to lead complex, fast-paced interior construction projects.
Base pay range: $100,000 – $140,000 per year.
OverviewThis role is ideal for a standalone Superintendent with 10+ years of Class A commercial high‑rise and/or OSHPD experience who can confidently represent the company in client interviews, manage multi‑floor projects, and consistently deliver high‑quality results in demanding, occupied environments.
Responsibilities- Serve as the on‑site leader and company representative for all assigned projects
- Lead all field operations from mobilization through closeout
- Coordinate subcontractors, client vendors, and landlord/base‑building teams
- Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure accurate layout and execution
- Manage schedules, look‑aheads, logistics, and site access requirements
- Conduct safety meetings and ensure full compliance with CAL‑OSHA and company safety standards
- Maintain daily reports covering manpower, inspections, deliveries, RFIs, delays, and site activity
- Coordinate inspections with City, Health Department, Public Works, and other AHJs
- Hold weekly subcontractor foremen meetings and attend weekly client meetings
- Enforce quality control and ensure work conforms to approved plans and specs
- Manage punch‑list and day‑two work to ensure full client satisfaction
- 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
- Strong background in Class A commercial TI, creative office, OSHPD, medical office, and/or tech space
- Proven ability to run projects independently as a standalone Superintendent
- Deep knowledge of building codes, OSHA requirements, and healthcare/occupied environments
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineered drawings and specifications
- Trade knowledge across carpentry, MEPs, and interior finishes
- Experience managing subcontractors, inspections, and field personnel
- OSHA‑30, First Aid, and CPR certifications
- Experience with Procore, Plan Grid, MS Project, BIM, or similar platforms
- LEED or similar accreditation
- Strong client‑facing skills with experience helping win repeat business
