Bommarito Construction is hiring a skilled and experienced Working Auger Bore Foreman to lead trenchless utility installation projects across the Greater St. Louis area. This full-time, hands-on role is ideal for a field leader with deep experience in auger boring operations—particularly in pipe casing from 12" to 60". You'll oversee daily operations, coordinate pit setups, and drive complex bore jobs to successful completion while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

• Lead and manage day-to-day auger bore crew operations.
• Interpret construction plans and grades, ensuring accuracy in alignment and elevation.
• Set up bore pits and staging areas; operate or oversee boring machines and equipment.
• Ensure site safety and cleanliness, managing labor and production effectively.
• Communicate daily with superintendents, project managers, and inspectors.
• Mentor junior crew members and foster a culture of growth and teamwork.
• Proactively identify problems and deliver practical, innovative solutions.

• Proven experience with auger boring operations (12'-60' casing).
• Strong ability to maintain grade using laser level or transit.
• In-depth knowledge of safe excavation and trenching practices, including confined space entry.
• Ability to read and interpret civil and site utility plans.
• Experience aligning field production with project schedules.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• OSHA 30 and competent person certification strongly preferred.
• Strong alignment with Bommarito Construction's mission and values.

This position is with a signatory Union Contractor. Applicants do not need to be current union members to apply. However, if you are hired and accept the position, you will be required to join the appropriate union in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Bommarito Construction will assist with the membership process at the appropriate time.
