Finance Director

What will you do?

As a Sustainability Operations & Control Coordinator, you ensure our sustainability processes are accurate, complete, and executed on time. You are responsible for the operational execution and control within our Sustainability Management System.

Your responsibilities include:

• Collecting and processing sustainability documentation in our ERP system.
• Reviewing data and executing corrections in coordination with Operations and Trade.
• Initiating counter party due diligence checks and registering outcomes in the tracking system.
• Collecting and monitoring KYC/KYP documentation and ensuring file completeness.
• Monitoring certification validity periods and maintaining certification registers.
• Supporting supplier audit coordination and tracking corrective actions.
• Supporting internal audits and ensuring documentation is audit‑ready.
• Preparing and validating data inputs for dashboards and reports (e.g., with Excel or Power BI).

You work according to structured procedures, identify deviations or risks in time, and escalates when needed to colleagues within Assurance, Compliance, Data, or Strategy.

In this role, you work at the heart of the energy transition within a fast‑growing and international company. You directly contribute to the reliability of our sustainability data and regulatory compliance.

You will join a team of six colleagues based in Taiwan, Mexico, Argentina, South Africa, Germany, and Greece. Together, you translate sustainability commitments into robust systems, compliant processes, and reliable data.

You will have the opportunity to help structure processes further and contribute to automation and digitalisation initiatives. There is room to grow within sustainability, compliance, or data‑focused career paths.

Connex operates in a dynamic, international market within the energy transition. The Sustainability Team ensures that our sustainability commitments are translated into robust processes, reliable data, and demonstrable compliance.

We manage certifications and audit readiness, conduct due diligence, safeguard traceability systems, and embed sustainability requirements into contracts and supply chain operations. We work closely with Trade, Operations, Finance, and IT to protect the company from compliance risks while enabling sustainable commercial growth.

Daarnaast herken je jezelf in het volgende:

• 1 tot 3 jaar ervaring in operations, administratie, compliance support of sustainability coördinatie.
• Een achtergrond in bijvoorbeeld Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Sustainability of Compliance.
• Ervaring met ERP‑systemen en sterke Excel‑vaardigheden (zoals datavalidatie en tracking).
• Analytisch vermogen om inconsistenties of ontbrekende informatie te signaler en.
• Je volgt graag duidelijke processen en weet wanneer je moet opschalen bij afwijkingen.
