The RoleWe are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across the Netherlands. This is a new business focused role, approached in a structured and consultative manner rather than through aggressive sales tactics.
You will identify and develop opportunities within regulated life sciences services, engaging technical and operational stakeholders with credibility and insight. The emphasis is on thoughtful market targeting, relationship building and long term partnership development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute structured market development plans across the Netherlands
- Identify and approach new pharmaceutical and biotech prospects through targeted outreach
- Buildand manage a high quality pipeline of strategic opportunities
- Represent the organisation at industry events and strengthen market visibility
- Translate client challenges into tailored technical service solutions
- Collaborate closely with internal scientific and operational experts to deliver strong proposals
- Maintain a small portfolio of clients to ensure continuity and selective growth
- Scientific degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or similar
- 2+ years' experience in business development or technical commercial roles within pharma, biotech, CDMO, CRO or laboratory services
- Solid understanding of GMP regulated environments
- Strong stakeholder management and consultative communication skills
- Based in the Netherlands with valid work authorisation
- Strategic, relationship focused business development rather than aggressive cold calling
- Exposure to complex GMP and regulated service environments
- Represent a technically respected organisation with strong international infrastructure
- Remote based role with autonomy and flexibility
