About the Role

As a Training Coordinator with Wilmar Sugar and Renewables, based in the Burdekin Region, you’ll be responsible for coordinating, delivering, and accurately documenting compliance training activities. This role has a strong administrative focus, where you’ll manage training schedules, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with both legislative and company policies. You will develop and update training materials to support the company’s objectives and act as the primary contact for all training-related enquiries.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining the Learning Management System, processing purchase orders and invoices, and generating timely reports. You will also assist with the annual budgeting process, ensuring that all training activities are delivered within budget. You’ll work closely with site leaders and stakeholders to identify training needs, schedule training, and deliver sessions aligned with organisational objectives. In addition, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide support to the wider P&C team to achieve company goals.

Role Responsibilities
  • Schedule, coordinate, and deliver site compliance training sessions.
  • Maintain accurate training records and update the Learning Management System.
  • Prepare, organise, and manage training materials and resources for your site.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and assist with training budget administration.
  • Liaise with site leaders and employees to respond to training needs and enquiries.
About You

We are looking for someone who brings:

Essential
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of applications
  • Industry qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV in Training and Assessment)
  • Demonstrated experience in organising, delivering, and maintaining accurate training records
  • Understanding of the vocational education system and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
Desirable
  • Industry qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV in Training and Assessment)
  • Multiple relevant high‑risk licence qualifications and any other relevant industry qualifications
  • Ability to deliver and assess internal training programmes in line with company standards and requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar industrial environment
