Established in 2020 through the merger of Auckland Clinical Studies (ACS) and Christchurch Clinical Studies Trust (CCST), NZCR is at the forefront of early‑phase clinical research in New Zealand. Permanent, Full‑Time (40 Hours per Week).
We’re looking for an Account Development Manager to help drive NZCR’s growth by generating new business opportunities and supporting client engagement efforts. Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, you’ll work closely with the Business Development team, internal leadership, and potential clients to identify leads, secure meetings, and support proposal development.
You’ll manage sales activity through CRM tools, contribute to marketing campaigns and events, and ensure proposals clearly reflect our value and capabilities. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in clinical research, pharma, or biotech who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Skills and Experience- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research industries.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification required.
- Strong understanding of the clinical research and pharmaceutical landscape.
- Proven ability to generate and nurture sales leads, present capabilities professionally, and support the sales process from introduction to close.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally across departments.
- Highly organised with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Salesforce experience desirable).
- A collaborative approach and a can‑do attitude in a fast‑paced environment.
