Business Development RepresentativeThe primary focus of the Business Development Representative is to secure high-quality appointments with C-level executives for our C-level representatives through targeted outreach, including email and onsite visits.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, qualify, and prioritize target accounts and key decision-makers within those accounts.
- Assist in developing and implementing outbound strategies to initiate first-stage conversations with targeted C-level executives.
- Manage and execute email campaigns, including developing email lists, crafting compelling messages, and tracking response rates.
- Schedule and confirm sales meetings between the prospect’s C-level and FUSE3’s C-level executives.
- Manage and maintain CRM data to accurately track leads, appointments, and follow-up activities.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies based on data and feedback.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual appointment-setting targets.
- Nurture lost opportunities and targeted prospect lists
- Work in a team and communicate effectively
- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to the prospect’s needs
- Business awareness: specific knowledge of the prospect and how IT relates to their business strategy and goals
- Regularly document processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for entering time and expenses in Connect Wise as they occur
- Maintain certifications required for the position
- Interpersonal skills, such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer care
- Comfortably discuss technical issues and offer suggested solutions
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changes quickly
- Ability to de‑escalate the situation
- Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services
- Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work in a fast‑moving environment
- Managed Service Provider experience is highly desired
