Overview
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth in the U.S. market. This role focuses on sales, partnerships, and market expansion within the EdTech sectors. The ideal candidate understands how to bridge U.S. market opportunities with cross-border business strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead U.S. Market Growth – Identify and develop new business opportunities in education, corporate training, and community college partnerships.
- Sales & Partnerships – Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers in target sectors; close high-value deals that align with company objectives.
- Market Outreach – Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute campaigns that increase brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
- Client Relationship Management – Ensure long-term client satisfaction, retention, and growth through proactive account management.
- Market Intelligence – Provide insights on U.S. market trends, competitor activities, and partnership opportunities to guide business strategy.
- Collaboration – Work cross-functionally with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to ensure seamless client onboarding and delivery.
- Experience: 5+ years in business development, sales, or partnerships; experience in EdTech or SaaS is a plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with U.S. education sector stakeholders (e.g., community colleges, corporate L&D).
- Language: Bilingual in English and Mandarin strongly preferred.
- Cultural Understanding: Experience studying and living in the U.S., with strong cross-cultural communication skills.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
