Sr. Account Manager

We’re a tight-knit creative agency looking for an Account Lead who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone with 5-7 years of agency experience who’s ready to take real ownership, own and build client relationships, and help shape great work from brief to delivery.

Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for your account, building trusted client relationships through clear, proactive communication.
  • Own development of project estimates, and account financials—ensuring projects are billed accordingly.
  • Lead intake and prioritization of incoming work, translating client needs into tight briefs and actionable direction for a small, fast-moving team.
  • Bring a strong point of view to the work, helping shape solutions that deliver against client business goals and KPIs.
  • Partner hands‑on with creative and strategy teammates to develop, refine, and present work to clients.
  • Actively addressing scope creep while identifying opportunities to grow accounts.
  • Keep the team aligned and energized through clear communication, including debriefs after key client moments.
  • Clearly communicate the agency’s perspective and translate client feedback and objectives into focused execution.
  • Listen deeply, think quickly, and make decisive calls in a dynamic, startup‑style environment.
  • Effectively partner with the Managing Director of Account to align daily account work with long‑term business goals, providing proactive updates on performance and growth opportunities while identifying potential risks with clear, actionable solutions to support high‑level decision‑making.
Key Traits & Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience managing client accounts in an agency setting.
  • Experience working with automotive brands is a plus, but not required.
  • Comfortable taking ownership across multiple projects at a time, budgets, estimates, and day‑to‑day client communication.
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Clear, confident communicator who can lead client conversations and collaborate closely with internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completion of tasks before sharing with the clients.
  • Proactive problem solver who stays calm under pressure and makes sound decisions.
  • Collaborative, low‑ego team player who thrives in a small, startup‑style agency where everyone pitches in.
  • Self‑motivated, adaptable, and excited to grow alongside a team that’s still building how it works.
Tools & Systems
  • Experience utilizing the full Google suite and Slack for daily communication.
  • Comfortable using MS Suite of tools:
    Excel, Word, PPT.
  • Familiarity with project management & time tracking systems (Experience with Wrike and Basecamp a huge plus!).
