Under the direct supervision of the Associate Warden, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator (ADAC), the SSA provides independent analytical support to the operation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Office working with the Grievance Office to ensure the interim accommodation process is adhered to and the Reasonable Accommodation Panel (RAP) Requests (1824’s) are tracked and processed in a manner consistent with departmental rules and regulations.
The SSA ensures that management is provided with up-to-date and accurate information to support recommendations for responses to 1824s.
Limited Term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or may become permanent.
Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).
