As a Project Control Analyst, you will support cost, schedule, and performance management across multiple lines of business, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high quality and compliance.
About the RoleWe are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Project Controls Analyst with 5–8 years of experience in project controls, strong background in cost forecasting, change management, scheduling, and reporting. This role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost control systems.
- Create and update project schedules as needed.
- Perform earned value analysis and variance reporting.
- Track and manage project changes, risks, and opportunities.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of various contract types, including:
- Lump Sum (Fixed Price):
Monitor scope adherence and manage cost risks due to limited flexibility. - Time and Materials (T&M):
Track labor hours and material costs closely to ensure billing accuracy and budget control. - Unit Price Contracts:
Validate quantities installed or delivered against agreed unit rates and ensure accurate progress measurement. - Generate regular reports and dashboards for stakeholders and leadership.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Support procurement and contract management processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project controls processes and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in project controls or project management support.
- Proficiency in scheduling and cost control tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project and Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Spectrum is preferred but not a must.
