Automotive Assistant & Service Managers

Overview

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Ballwin, MO area. Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States with over 2,000 retail locations.

• Assistant Manager: support the Store Manager to ensure the location operates efficiently, safely and effectively; enforce established policies, procedures and standards; schedule mechanics/technicians; manage outside orders; ensure quality and timely completion of jobs; meet customer expectations; and maintain team safety.
• Service Manager: assist customers with tire selections and recommend under-car repair services; direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians; stage vehicle repair/maintenance work; drive sales initiatives; communicate with customers; assess customer needs; provide information regarding repairs and maintenance; ensure customer satisfaction and strive to meet expectations.

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
