Lube Technician - Oil

Overview

ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Lubrication Technician to work in our Service Department located in Ballwin, MO. The Lube Technician replaces the oil/air filter, lubricates moving parts, and performs routine maintenance on tires and batteries. Our Service Helpers are a part of the Machinist union and have weekly pay andfull benefits offered combined with a professional work environment.

All candidates must have at least3 monthsof recent oil change experience at a retail automotive business and their own complete set of tools (including impact tool).

• Performs work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Sells lubrication, safety inspection, and other related services.
• Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil.
• Replaces oil and air filters.
• Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary.
• Performs Missouri State inspection and emissions tests.
• Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants.
• Performs maintenance and replaces vehicle tires and batteries.
• Performs wheel rotations and balancing.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Documents all work performed on the repair order.
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must have at least3 months of recent oil change experience at a retail automotive business.
• Must have a current Missouri State Inspection and Emissions license.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record within the last 3 years (DUI/DWI).
• Must be willing to take a preemployment drug screening test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must have your own complete set of tools, including an impact tool.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8:15 am to 5 pm.
