PEG Staffing & Recruiting is looking for an Automotive Claims Adjuster for our client in Fenton, MO - a role where your expertise in vehicles and customer service comes to life in a dynamic office setting.
What You'll Do
As an Automotive Claims Adjuster, you'll review vehicle service contract claims, authorize repairs, and serve as the key point of contact for repair shops, vendors, and customers. You'll ensure each claim is handled efficiently, accurately, and professionally, while supporting team goals.
Core Responsibilities:
- Respond to mechanical and appearance-related claims via phone, email, and fax
- Review documentation and determine claim eligibility
- Approve or deny repairs based on contract terms, maintaining accurate records
- Coordinate with vendors to verify pricing, parts availability, or schedule inspections
- Provide professional, courteous service on every interaction
- Maintain thorough notes and documentation in the system
- Support department productivity and service goals
- Assist with administrative tasks, projects, and process improvements
- Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives
Required:
- 2+ years in automotive repair, parts, or service (technician, mechanic, parts manager, service advisor)
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
- Positive, self-motivated, and team-oriented attitude
- Commitment to delivering excellent service
- Call center experience
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Associate degree
