Lot Attendant​/Porter

Overview

Job Summary The Sales Porter is responsible for supporting the sales department by maintaining the appearance, organization, and readiness of new and pre-owned vehicles. This role ensures vehicles are clean, properly displayed, and available for customer test drives, contributing to a positive customer experience consistent with Volkswagen brand standards.

• Move and park vehicles on the lot to maintain an organized and attractive display
• Prepare vehicles for customer test drives, including fueling, cleaning, and staging
• Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicles as needed
• Ensure all vehicles are properly tagged, priced, and merchandised
• Assist sales consultants with vehicle delivery preparation
• Perform routine inspections and report damage or maintenance needs
• Keep lot, showroom, and delivery areas clean and presentable
• Support vehicle inventory management, including receiving new vehicles
• Drive vehicles to and from service, body shop, or off-site locations as required
• Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, and move vehicles for extended periods
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
• Previous Dealership Or Porter Experience Preferred, But Not Required
