The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles efficiently and accurately, following MAP guidelines and the standards of our dealership, manufacturers, and Plaza Tire Automotive.

Pay ranges from $20–$35 per hour depending on experience (hourly plus flag rate).

• Previous automotive technician experience required
• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays

The role involves exposure to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non‑hazardous materials. Temperature variations may include extreme heat or cold. Use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required.

Physical requirements include:

• Standing up to eight hours per day in the shop and walking to access various areas
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching regularly; full range of motion with arms and hands; ability to handle or manipulate objects frequently
• Lifting or moving up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 70 pounds frequently
• Communicating with customers and shop personnel
• Adequate vision to detect color, depth, and re‑focus
