Position Information
Under the general direction and supervision of the Financial Administrative Officer, the Placement Test Coordinator conducts and manages all placement examinations for undergraduate majors in the departments of Comparative Literature & Languages and Hispanic Studies. The position also processes placement test billing via Banner online system, prepares packets for proctors, provides administrative support answering front desk questions, disseminates mail, and monitors fax machine for incoming faxes.

Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year administrative experience.
- Experience with proctoring examinations in an academic setting.
Desired Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong record‑keeping and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web‑based software applications.
- Attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively in a service environment with frequent interruptions.
- Prior knowledge of University of California policies and FERPA.
- Experience with online Student Information Systems (SIS+).
The full salary range for the Placement Test Coordinator is $22.73 - $31.86 per hour. The budgeted salary range is up to $24.50 per hour.
