Overview
Under the general direction of the Classification and Parole Representative (C & PR), the Assistant C & PR/Post-Release Community Supervision (PRCS) Liaison will represent the institution in communication between counties and Headquarters. The Assistant C & PR/PRCS Liaison may assist in planning, organizing and directing the inmate population, classification system, and inmate records office. The Liaison effects staff adherence to departmental classification and parole policies;
trains staff, interprets the classification program for institutional personnel with other agencies and the public. The Liaison will also act as the liaison between institutional and parole services. Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may be considered for this position.
