We are looking for a Trust Reconciliations Specialist to prepare accurate, timely, and complete journal information for the recording of reconciling entries to the appropriate accounts. The ideal candidate will be computer-savvy and have a keen eye for detail. You will report to the reconciliation manager. An understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory.
The company will rely on you to provide accurate, up-to-date data that is easily accessible through a digital database.
Responsibilities- Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts manually and automated matching for a high volume of transactions
- Completes daily and monthly reconciliations, along with research and follow-through of unreconciled items, for assigned accounts
- Analyze and record all appropriate debit and credit adjustments
- Demonstrates an understanding of bank statement activity (e.g., deposits, checks, chargeback, in-transit items)
- Navigate through Artiva to gather/observe ledger information
- Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Update existing data
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
- Proven experience as a Trust Reconciliations Specialist
- Fast typing skills:
Knowledge of ARTIVA is a plus, but not required - Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
- Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices
- Basic understanding of databases
- Good command of English, both oral and written, and customer service skills
- Great attention to detail
- High school degree or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time, in-office position
Salary: $19.00 to $21.00 hourly
