PositionSummary
The Child Development Temporary Compliance Specialist provides support to the Child Development (CD) program to comply with regulations and requirements for state, city, and other funders. This position assists the Contract and Compliance team to complete data entry, collect and review reports, and provide administrative and technical support to the program staff using multiple database systems. This position follows a hybrid work model, providing onsite services to our child development program, while completing a majority of administrative work remotely.
ResponsibilitiesChild and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Administration Support
- Collect and review daily, weekly, and monthly required (CACFP) paperwork for all our programs
- Assist in conducting monthly site monitoring
- Review CACFP related purchases to keep in compliance
Child Development Database Management
- Setup Learning Genie (LG) accounts for teachers/staff and enter data, review completion for the center based program
- Provide TA to the teachers and administrators for LG (SISO and DRDP) and NOHO database
- Complete monthly Microsoft Office Team (MT) ,DEC Enrollment Tracking System(DETs) reporting forthe San Francisco Department of Early Childhood(DEC)
CD Contract Program Compliance
- Assist processing Attendance Sheets (Sign In/Sign Out) for center based program and verified accuracy and communicate with site admin for correction of needed.
- Review and create monthly family fees report
- Assist reviewing the enrollment initial/recertification documentations
Administrative
- Collection and data entry for Child Development related reportings
- Assist sampling audits using California Department Education/California Department Social Services program review instrument
- Process monthly ELFA funding attendance sheet, complete the reporting and submit them to DEC
- The Temporary Compliance Assistant will commit to work for nine weeks; 25 hours a week.
- This position is hybrid, with at least 2 days a week required at a FACES office or location.
You have a solid mix of the following knowledge, ability, skills and experience:
- Experience working in an administrative role, preferably within a nonprofit educational setting
- Knowledge of CACFP, subsidized child care data management, program and reporting
- Excellent organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize duties and meet regular reporting/processing deadlines
- Ability to meet required state, federal, local, and CDC standards (including but not limited to fingerprint clearance, negative TB test, First Aid, CPR)
- A deep commitment to aligning all program practices to FACES values, especially around equity, inclusion, and belonging for all our stakeholders
