DescriptionAs an Office Coordinator at Impulse, you will lead the day-to-day office operations at our testing facility in Mojave. This role acts as a key liaison between partner teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the office.
Note:
This role is no more than 30 hours per week.
- Serve as a liaison for the site, external service providers, and partner teams
- Coordinate shipping and receiving logistics, including accepting deliveries and preparing outgoing shipments
- Track couriers headed to or arriving from other offices
- Order and pick up lunches for staff on site
- Maintain stock of office supplies and food and beverages for the site
- Maintaining a clean office and work environment
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees, guests, contractors, and vendors
- Coordinate travel, stay, and food for visitors
- Track and document employee travel
- Coordinate various vendors responsible for maintaining the site
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of experience in office or facilities management or a similar operations-focused role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) with an ability to quickly learn new software tools
- Experience with front desk/reception duties and use of visitor or security management platforms
- Exposure to project management and process documentation tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Forklift operation experience or certification is a plus
- Familiarity with the Mojave and Antelope Valley area
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Drive up to 1 hour in each direction to make pick ups
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted
Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
Impulse Space’s spacecraft manufacturing business is subject to U.S. export regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
