Monitoring Account Specialist
The Monitoring Account Specialistworks directly with Western States Fire Protection’s 40+ branches as well as a third-party billing company to produce timely and accurate billing, collections and reporting for a $7 million and growing Alarm and Monitoring division. The Account Specialist will also work closely with the whole corporate Alarm & Monitoring division.
Location: St. Louis, MO
This is not a remote position.
The salary range for this position is $22.00-$24.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct receivable tasks: collections, refund submittals, disconnect notices
- Setting up and maintaining monitoring accounts sold by our branches
- Timeliness of problem solving with branches
- Responsible for maintaining and uploading documents to an electronic file system
- Create, type, and distribute internal and external correspondence
- Assist in completing special reporting and licensing requirements
- Complete special projects as required
- Accomplish responsibilities as required using business software as approved by WSFP
- Provide administrative support for the Alarm and Monitoring branch divisions
- Offer suggestions and solutions on improving efficiency of general office procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Two years’ basic office experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Background in basic administrative skills is preferred
- Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of business software applications
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Puts forth a courteous, friendly, helpful attitude always when answering the phones or dealing with other associates
- Willing to pass a post-offer drug screen test and background check
