Marketing Assistant
Location: Branson, MO
Salary: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00
Position SummaryThe Marketing Assistant will report directly to the Director of Marketing to serve as a key administrative and operational resource for the marketing department. This position focuses on coordinating cross-functional projects, tracking campaign progress, managing deadlines, and handling crucial logistics for the marketing team to ensure all initiatives run smoothly and effectively.

Essential Functions- Answering and directing phone calls, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and communicating with clients, customers, and vendors.
- Organizing and maintaining physical and digital files, managing databases, and compiling records of office transactions.
- Setting up and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring office equipment is functioning correctly.
- Typing, formatting, proofreading, and distributing correspondence, reports, memos, and other documents.
- Performing data entry, assisting with basic bookkeeping, and processing invoices or bills.
- Assisting with special projects, organizing office events, and providing general support to team members and other departments.
- Coordinating cross-functionally with internal teams (like content, design, digital, and operations), and external vendors to ensure all parties and marketing campaigns are aligned and on track.
- Gathering and inputting information into project management systems and managing deadlines to ensure marketing projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitoring project progress day-to-day and troubleshooting any roadblocks or issues that arise.
- Executing in-house printing projects and file requests.
- Ensuring that the Marketing Department has the supplies necessary to complete its daily tasks.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Minimum Degree
Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. - Degree or Certification in related field preferred.
- 2 years experience in Hospitality Marketing or Administrative positions preferred.
- Strong knowledge of office software, especially the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), is essential.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills are necessary for prioritizing and completing tasks efficiently.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with staff, clients, and vendors.
- High level of accuracy and meticulousness required for managing records, entering data, and handling financial tasks.
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new procedures is important for success.
- Attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Skill in identifying and resolving issues that could impede project progress.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with web-based project management and email marketing platforms is preferred.
- Working understanding of marketing principles, campaigns, and strategies is preferred.
- Prior experience in an administrative or clerical role is often preferred, but many entry-level positions are available.
