Under the supervision of the RED Administrative Officer, the Research Center Administrative Officer serves as an integral part of the daily administrative operations for Alianza UCMX. In this role the Research Center Administrative Officer functions as the main transactor for procurement, travel, and other financial or administrative needs. This position serves as an occasional back-up/relief person for administrative tasks and functions for other administrative units and departments under the Research and Development organization structure during absences, leaves, or as required.
The full salary range for the position is $68,361.12 - $ annually. However, the budgeted salary range for this position is $76,379.04. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

Responsibilities- Serve as the main transactor for procurement, travel, and other financial or administrative needs.
- Provide occasional back-up/relief for administrative tasks and functions for other units within the Research and Development organization during absences or as required.
- Bachelor s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
- 2 - 4 years of related experience.
- Experience using automated payroll systems.
- Experience using UCR financial systems and applications.
- Working knowledge of financial processes, policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs.
