Our client is a real estate/investment company seeking a Staff Accountant with a tax
background to join their accounting team.
This role is ideal for a tax accountant in public accounting who is looking for work life balance in a private industry setting. You will utilize your tax background when performing accounting work for complex financial structures and multi-entity reporting (family office).
Job Responsibilities- Assist with tax-related accounting adjustments for individuals, trusts, S corporations, and partnerships.
- Reconcile monthly statements for 100+ bank and brokerage accounts.
- Monitor daily cash activity and approve transactions multiple times per day.
- Enter journal entries for:
Quarterly interest accruals, tax adjustments, and complex transactions involving trusts, partnerships, and S corporations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 1–3 years of public accounting experience (tax experience preferred) or direct family office experience.
