We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join and collaborate closely with the leadership team. This role offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding of company operations within a dynamic environment. Reporting directly to the owner, the Senior Accountant will oversee various financial activities, including month-end closing, job cost reporting, and account reconciliations, with potential growth into a CFO position.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles
- Experience in Construction or Manufacturing accounting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of W.I.P, Cashflow reports, GAAP, and Month-end Closing procedures
- Strong communication, organizational, and human relations skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with Del Tek Computer Ease Software is a plus
- Manage monthly General Ledger Closing, including journal entries, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
- Prepare Job Cost Reports and Monthly W.I.P. summaries
- Verify employee timesheets and process payroll
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Handle billing and accounts receivable management
