Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk, Accounting Assistant, Accounts Receivable/ Collections

Are you detail-oriented, love numbers, and want your work to make a difference? Join our government-funded non-profit organization supporting State programs. As a Bookkeeper/AP Clerk, you'll keep our financial engine running smoothly while helping us serve families and communities.
What You'll Do- Prepare financial reports for federal, state, and county agencies
- Process invoices, vouchers, and reimbursements with precision
- Monitor procurement forms and assist with bid packages
- Reconcile ledgers, bank statements, and journal entries
- Support annual audits and compliance reviews
- Manage petty cash and outstanding payables
- Ensure every dollar is accounted for and aligned with government cost principles
- Experience in bookkeeping and accounts payable
- Knowledge of accrual and fund accounting
- Skilled in Excel and accounting software (MIP/Abila preferred)
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
