Overview
Accounts Payable Clerk (Contract – 6+ Months) –
Location:
Chesterfield, MO (100% Onsite).
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM. Pay: $22–$23/hr (higher rate negotiable based on experience).
- Handle vendor inquiries professionally via phone and email.
- Research AP issues using two internal systems (older and current).
- Support AP processing and perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist with invoice resolution; escalate complex cases to senior team members.
- Help the AP team reduce backlog and improve workflow efficiency.
- Maintain organized records and follow company AP procedures.
- 1+ year of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience.
- SAP experience preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal communication—clear, professional, and confident over the phone.
- Fast learner with strong problem-solving and research skills.
- Ability to work onsite daily in Chesterfield, MO.
- One opening available, approx. six months in duration.
- Potential for future openings or contract extension based on business needs.
