Major Duties
  • As Chief of the Managerial Accounting Division, serves as the installation's accountant, responsible for the continuing review, revision, improvement, and adjustment of the entire appropriated financial accounting program at the installation,
  • Issues appropriate directive guidance, directs actions to be taken, and resolves procedural problems.
  • Develops alternative options, to assist managers in improving financial management performance.
  • Serves as a systems accountant to perform professional accounting work requiring the application of accounting principles, theories, concepts, and practices.
  • Accounting problems are reviewed and resolved by incumbent.
  • Provides advice and assistance to internal and external activities to promote understanding of the accounting and reporting functions and related problems.
  • Supervises activities and employees involved in the application or accounting principles, theories, concepts and practices to a wide variety, of difficult problems.
