An A Westside financial services firm is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. In this Accounting Manager role, you would be responsible for waterfall calculations, flow through structures, assisting with treasury and AP when needed, closed end assets, alternatives, fees, and other fund accounting duties. To be successful in this role, the Accounting Manager should be able to role up their sleeves, analytical, and be able to handle fast‑paced and complex fund accounting.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 5-10+ years of fund accounting experience
• CPA a plus but not a requirement
• Advanced Excel

• Manage the full‑cycle accounting for closed‑end alternative investment funds
• Oversee capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations across complex flow‑through entities
• Prepare and review fund financial statements, capital account statements, and supporting schedules
• Calculate and review waterfalls, management fees, and carried interest
• Ensure accurate accounting for investments, valuations, and fund‑level expenses
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and fund governing documents
• Support treasury activities, including cash management, wires, and funding needs
• Oversee accounts payable processes and expense allocations across funds
• Partner with leadership to evaluate and transition to outsourced accounting and operational solutions as the platform scales
• Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and other third‑party providers
• Build, improve, and document fund accounting processes and controls in a less structured, alternatives‑focused environment
• Review and enhance reporting accuracy, timeliness, and transparency
• Serve as a technical resource for complex accounting questions related to fund structures and transactions
• Act as a hands‑on manager who can operate independently while partnering closely with internal teams
• Collaborate with investment, legal, tax, and operations teams to support fund activity and reporting
• Communicate complex fund accounting concepts clearly to non‑accounting stakeholders
